More than 85 ladies in San Diego and Riverside County have entered to be Miss iTAN® 2012 finalists, collectively raising more than $400 for YWCA of San Diego County, which provides programs and services to survivors of domestic violence and homelessness.

In partnership with YWCA of San Diego County, iTAN Sun Spray Spa® is hosting the fifth annual Miss iTAN Contest on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 8 to 10 p.m. at Stingaree in the Gaslamp. For every entry the Miss iTAN Contest receives, iTAN will donate $5 to YWCA of San Diego County.

"What makes our business enjoyable and worthwhile is our ability to impact our customers' lives in a positive way," said Faraje Kharsa, CEO of iTAN Sun Spray Spa. "Our continued partnership with YWCA allows us to empower women to get back on their feet and to lead healthy and active lifestyles for themselves and their families."

Female customers can enter to be a finalist by submitting a full-body photo and brief statement explaining why they should be the next Miss iTAN on iTAN's Facebook Fan Page, between Thursday, March 1, 2012 and Sunday, April 1, 2012. Finalists will be among the eligible contestants who receive the most votes, and will be selected by iTAN to compete in the Miss iTAN Contest.

The winner of Miss iTAN will be iTAN's brand ambassador and will promote health and wellness throughout Southern California. Miss iTAN will receive a $5,000 value prize package, including a $1,000 cash prize, a year of free iTAN services, a year of free waxing from European Wax Center - San Diego, a modeling portfolio and many more prizes.

Individuals can vote for their favorite contestants on iTAN's Facebook Fan Page between Thursday, March 1, 2012 and Sunday, April 1, 2012. Eligible contestants must be female, between the ages of 22 and 32 as of March 1, 2012, a U.S. citizen and resident of San Diego or Riverside County, and a current iTAN Sun Spray Spa® customer, with no criminal record.
